MOSAIC

I was drawn to mosaics because I have always admired monumental art—those grand, intricate works that transform empty walls into something meaningful and alive. The idea of building something vast and cohesive from countless small, textured pieces fascinated me. It felt like a way to merge structure and spontaneity, precision and creativity.

At first, my approach to mosaics was cautious, almost hesitant. I focused on control, keeping my compositions restrained. But with each new piece, I began to uncover the full expressive potential of this technique.

The more I worked, the more the medium revealed itself to me—offering endless possibilities for depth, movement, and storytelling. Now, mosaics have become not just a practice but a way of seeing, a way of assembling fragments into something greater than the sum of their parts.
